BIBLE STUDY: LIVING FOR GOD 1 PETER 4
How do we live for God?
We need to be ready to suffer physical pain for Christ. Jesus suffered physical pain worse than we can ever encounter. And when we suffer physical pain for Christ our lord and savior we are free of sin. And you can read that verse on 1 PETER 4.
We need to stay away from unbelievers: Unbelievers who enjoy Immortality, lust,feasting and drunkness, who enjoy wild parties and worship Idols.
You need to stay away from these things and these people even if your non participation means they will malign you. You don;t want to be involved with those things because God sees everything and you cant hide from him.
Once you stop doing all those things that God doesn't like that your friends do they will slander and judge you but you need to keep your head up because you didn't come here to impress no one but God and those people judging you will be judged by God, so If they want to talk and stop being your friend let them because you deserve way better friends than those and God already know who that person is.
When you start getting closer to God he will put good people in your life you just have to let them in.And once they are there you will know that they are chosen from God himself to be there for you and you to be there for her/him.
This is said many times in the bible " THE END OF THE WORLD IS COMING SOON" and its very true. People don't want to believe it but its is happening right now as we sleep, read, drink coffee, put on our shoes.... it IS happening and its real.
How do we get ready for the end of the world or the end of time?
We stay true to our belief = be disciple in your prayers and studying you bible
Follow gods rules = 10 commandments + love each other
By Continuing to show love for each other 1 PETER 4:8 & PROV 10:12
* covers a multitude of sins
*"where there is love offences are frequently overlooked and quickly forgotten
Show Hospitality = with this I don't think it means invite a total strangers into your house because that is very extremely dangerous now in time. But more like be generous to the poor, be kind, be loving.
We all have a gift and we need to use them.
* Do you have the gift of speaking ? Then speak as though God himself were speaking though you.
* Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. 1 PETER 4:11
