FOR THE YOUTH

So today I was in church and the preacher was taking about Esau selling his birthright to his brother in GENESIS 25:27-34. We are in a time where people Don't really care about much and they think they can make it on their own but its not like that. No one will ever be completely happy if they are not in Christ. When Esau gave his brother his birthright he gave him brother his happiness and everything else that comes when you are in the presence of Christ. Esau gave his brother Jacob his birthright because he was "hungry" and Jacob saw an opportunity to see if his brother knew how valuable his birthright was and Esau felt on the trap and gave his brother his birthright for some bread and lentil stew. This is like exchanging a diamond for a rock. The rock will soon start getting ugly with mold but the diamond will always be shiny and it will stay in tact. We have all got a friend or someone in our family that would tell us "Ill exchange you this for that" but what you have is far more valuable than what that other person is trying to give you, would you give it up? or would you hold tight on what you got because you know the value of it?
God has given us something very valuable and precious and its his Holy Spirit who guides us to do right, gives us knowledge and wisdom, God did not only gives us his Holy spirit but he also gave us his one and only son Jesus Christ, he who died for our sins in the cross and because of him now we can be forgiven,
Will you give all of that up for the world?
Do you prefer to go out and party and drinking with your friends?,  Because that will not last forever. You will eventually grow tired of those friends, of drinking and you will be more lost than a willow tree in the north pole.

So do you prefer to stay with God's gift ?
which brings you happiness and love and more great things.

Or

Give up all of that for the world?
who will only bring you destruction, sadness, sickness and ect...

You can still chose because its still not to late.
