The love of money and fake preachers 1 timothy 6:2-10
I have had many questions about pastors that take money from their church and also if money is truly bad and I fell like these verses explain it to you.
we need to be careful with false prophets and preachers because we see God warning us about them very early in the bible. They would try to share the word of God for their own Gain but they understand nothing.
Now I personally don't believe that money is evil but if you make it your number one priority and you have this love for money then yes it will destroy you because you will end up never having enough.
1 TIMOTHY 6:2-10
Read this and then continue.....
Many people will claim to know God but then we see them doing all these ungodly things, that's when we start the questions and Honestly I don't have the answers and names of those people but when you feel like something is off, talk to God. He will tell you if that people is who they claim to be.
If anyone teaches otherwise and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and the godly teaching, they are conceited and understand nothing. they have an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions. 1Timothy 6:3&4
Don't ask another person in your church because others might be just as confused as you are or worse they don't see anything wrong. we need to open our hearts and listen to that voice that says " this is not good" or "I don't like this" because most of the time that would be God telling you there is something wrong.
Now if we are talking about money, this is a very touchy subject.
1.
Don't fall in love with money but find Love in God because he is the only one that can fill up that hole in your hearts. No money in this world will make you feel loved, or less lonely.
"For the love of money is a root to all kids of evil" 1tim 6:10
2.
Depend on God not money. Money comes and goes and it is very unpredictable, God is not.
we need to not forget that when we die we take nothing with us but our souls.
